WHAT IS SUI GENERIS? In law, sui generis is a term of art that is used to refer to something that can't be
placed into any category; something that is unique, or in a class by itself. The phrase is Latin, and roughly
translated means "of its own kind". I wanted this site to be unique. My goal is to offer interesting and different
hexed items for other players to use and enjoy in their own Babyz game.
Before opening this site, I hadn't operated a Babyz-related web site for over two years. My previous
were The Crayon Corner, and the very short-lived Victory Kidz.
sui generis was started on 14 September 2005.
WHO IS THE WEBMISTRESS?
My name is Wendy, and I am the owner and designer of this site. I'm a 33-year-old Canadian woman who enjoys painting, sewing, music, drama, creative writing, cooking, photography, computer gaming and web design. I have a dog named Grace and a betta fish named Atlantis. In real life, I'm a lawyer with a serious coffee habit, a wicked sense of humour, and an insatiable appetite for pizza.
I started playing Babyz in the year 2000. I was shopping at EB Games, and I spotted this particular game on the shelf. It looked intriguing, and the price was certainly right. I bought the game for myself, for my 24th birthday. When i installed the game and adopted my code babyz, I was hooked. Even so, I never imagined I'd still be playing and loving this game, ten years later.
I do not work for UbiSoft and am not connected in any way with designing or developing the Babyz PC game. My only link to Babyz is that I am one of the many dedicated fans of the game
