If you've found your way to this page, I can only assume that you're curious to know more about the owner of this domain. Please allow me to introduce myself.
My name is Wendy Marie Baker, and I was born in Halifax, Nova Scotia on 21st September 1976. I'd love to be able to say it was a dark and stormy night when I entered the world, but by all accounts, it was actually a fine Tuesday morning.
I was born with congenital cataracts. I've had some corrective surgeries, but I'm still visually impaired (or "legally blind" as we used to say). What that means in practical terms is that I can do anything my sighted peers do, with the exception of driving a motor vehicle and operating firearms.
To be honest, I probably wouldn't use firearms even if I could see, so that just leaves out driving.
I am a graduate of Saint Mary's University and of the University of Victoria Law School. I also hold a diploma in Media Studies from the Atlantic Media Institute.
In real life, I'm a lawyer with a serious caffeine habit, a love of science-fiction, and a practically insatiable appetite for pizza. I like to cook, and one of my dreams is to own a house with a huge and well-stocked kitchen. Other things I enjoy are swimming, sewing, painting, computer gaming, reading, web design and photography.
